BITE has organised for DCU Access staff to provide a talk for students and parent(s) about how to apply for HEAR and DARE schemes and the benefits of applying Monday evening, 20th October at 5:30pm in the school library.

Both schemes offer potential points reduction and additional college supports. Please note this is not just for DCU but the majority of colleges and universities. HEAR is looking at socio-economic factors and DARE is looking at if a student has a disability and has it affected senior cycle. Students can be eligible for both.

There have been several changes to HEAR this year in particular and 5th year parent(s), guardian(s) or students intending on going onto college after school may be interested in attending and learning more ahead of sixth year.
